Thank you for choosing Koda Roofing for your roof replacement. We’re excited to get started and want to help you feel fully prepared for the upcoming work. This guide walks through what to expect before, during, and after your project so there are no surprises.

Before Your Scheduled Start Date

A few simple steps can help your project run smoothly:

Around your home

  • Move vehicles out of the driveway and away from the house

  • Clear outdoor furniture, grills, planters, and décor near the work area

  • Unlock gates and ensure clear access to the property

Inside your home

  • Roof work can cause vibration and noise—secure fragile items on shelves or walls

  • You may hear pounding or movement throughout the day, which is completely normal

Pets & children

  • For safety, keep pets and children indoors or away from work areas during the project

If you have any questions leading up to your start date, your sales representative or our office team is always happy to help.

What to Expect on Installation Day(s)

Arrival & setup

Our crew typically arrives in the morning and begins by protecting landscaping, siding, and entryways. Safety is our top priority.

Tear-off & installation

  • Old roofing materials are removed

  • The roof deck is inspected

  • Underlayment, flashing, and new roofing materials are installed

  • Ventilation components are addressed as needed

You can expect noise, movement around your home, and materials on-site throughout the day. Our team works efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe job site.

Daily cleanup

At the end of each workday, we perform a cleanup of debris and nails and secure the site before leaving.

After the Work Is Complete

Final walkthrough

Once installation is complete, your sales rep or project manager will review the finished work with you and address any questions.

Cleanup & inspection

We complete a final cleanup and magnetic sweep of the property. We recommend a quick walk-around afterward to make sure everything looks great.

Our Commitment to You

At Koda Roofing, we take pride in clear communication, quality workmanship, and respect for your home. Our goal is to make your roof replacement as smooth and stress-free as possible.
